What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Had a new windshield installed today!

 

Added this jdm horsepower multiplier!

 

I finally installed the blue seas dual USB port in the place of the cigarette lighter in my dash. I had been questioning people here for a couple weeks trying to find a way to install it without taking the dash apart, and as it turns out you can just pull the cig lighter out the front of the button panel, cut the connections, attach the wires to the blue seas, and shove the blue seas straight back in the hole. Perfect, and I didn't scratch anything up either.

 

Replaced my Caliraised sideshooter ditch lights with BD Squadron-R Sports today.
Also going to flip the tent so that the ladder comes off the passenger side rather than out the back even though I like it that way best.
The tent sticking over the sides makes it really hard to mount my Tepui Awning which is on the way.

Has anyone installed these for your low beams or fogs? Looking for a good led replacement for stocks that won't break the bank.

 

After procrastinating it for months, finally got around to dipping the badges.

Just wrapped up a little project for the afternoon. This was really just a test run to see if it would fit. Now that I know I'm good, I'll cut the can again and install a compartment for all the hoses and stuff.

 

Would this work the same way in the 12v outlet in the center console? I keep a recharcheable light in there but the stupid cheesy 12v plug always pops loose. Its a USB cable anyway.

 

Can you still use the top portion of the can to contain some amount of liquid?

 

Im not done yet but, I modified the engine bracket that rubs on one the coolant hoses and painted the tow hook.

 

Probably not. That's where the hoses and stuff are going anyway. Its actually pretty close to the perfect size box for this use.

 

Oh well, no biggie.

Not to take away from your fine work , but I thought I had seen a similar jerry can mod somewhere. Looks like it's a popular project with some commercial versions:
