I’m getting to where I hate it. Thankfully, I have reliable tacoma to get me there.

This year. I gotta get to El Paso Texas. Meet up with my brother and drive to northern New Mexico to try to fill his elk tag. HOPEFULLY we score early, so we can shoot grouse. Then go back to El Paso to shoot white-wing doves at my brothers secret spot.

I considered flying. But I have firearms I need to transport. I’m not taking my bow, for a bear since I hurt my elbow mtn biking. I’ll have .22’s, shotguns, and my air-rifle.

I hope to bring back half of the elk meat plus a huge load of roasted Hatch NM green chili peppers.

Sucks I gotta burn 4 days driving. Argh!

Anyone loading on the miles this season?

You can fly relatively easy with firearms if you do your homework. You can also ship them over via an FFL or if you do your homework with certain shipping companies. Broken down properly they become "machined goods".
