I did - ended up getting the barrel from Primary. The Wylde barrels I was looking at on Gunbroker either didn't list the ramp configuration...or I just was missing it. The Ar15 5.56 barrels had it plain as day.

Looks good! What Bipod is that? Why no threads for a suppressor?

Thank you, thats the $36 nock off on eBay. (little bit of love here, little bit love there, & she's solid as a rock!) took the other $210 and bought the turret matched scope. No threads because that"s one of the first Ruger American 17HMR'S to hit the market before they offered it. I haven't put them on because Ive been to busy doing customers gun's. But I guess I could have done it while I was threading the bolt though.:frusty:

I went with a JP low profile that wraps around the barrel and is secured with 4 screws underneath - dimpling won't work. It has the capability of drilling the barrel to use a roll pin for extra security but I'm not going to be beating this thing around enough to need that. I've got it secured now - once I test-fire it, I'll use Loctite on the screws before I adjust it.

The color match is actually closer than the pic shows - I had to lighten it up since I took it using my phone in the basement. I'll get an outdoor picture today...and, yes, I can pretty much walk out the door and shoot. I have a 125 yard range set up on our property.

While looking at your finished rifle, I thought! the beige camo rattle can from H.D. would finish off that mag and bipod real nice like!
(thats the under tone of the camo rifle from yesterday)
