    Hey All,

    So we bought a 03 DC Pre-runner 3.4L with let's call it 195k for easy numbers on it. Always lived in southern California so no frame rust issues, clean title, and pretty well taken care of. The initial goal of the build is to restore everything to factory condition (or better). This "build" will mostly consist of getting all parts back to factory spec or better, then comfort & safety items for daily driving/long road trips/scuba diving events, and finally maybe...just maybe some really fun improvements. I know it's kind of lame with all the awesome stuff alot of TW members are doing, but figured this might be useful to other people and I wanted a place to document this.

    Current Problems:
    * Cracked radiator (upper plastic tank) - Replacement radiator ordered (replacing the thermostat while there)
    * A/C sucks at idle (ice cold when driving) - Replacing fan clutch when doing the radiator, system was recently recharged/leak tested
    * No oil plug gasket - i mean...seriously? Doing an oil change and putting in a fumoto valve anyways
    * Small head gasket leak ( i know this can be DIY, but it's beyond my comfort zone so this will be shop work)
    * Camper shell is leaking (not badly, only noticeable under pressure washer)
    * Camper shell paint is less than perfect (snugtop says they have lifetime paint warranty, so will be investigating that)
    * tailgate needs to be re-painted
    * driver side seat springs/foam suck
    * driver side seatbelt retractor needs replacement (passenger side is missing that button thing that keeps the buckle from sliding all the way done but works)
    * transmission mount needs replacement? (independent mechanic recommendation, I'll post exact wording later)
    * burnt out bulb in lower left of dash (first 2k of RPM is dark as shit lol)
    * driver door weather stripping is....lets just say its seen better days
    * Positive battery cable is near end of it's useful life
    * Passenger side dash rattle (.....that'll be fun to chase)
    * Foam coming out of AC (i know it's not a huge issue but would like to chase it down and reapply new foam to where it clearly is separating)

    Planned Maintenance:
    * Radiator Replacement w/Coolant Flush
    * Oil Change, air filter change
    * Fan clutch replacement
    * Spark Plugs/Wires
    * Transmission fluid/filter change
    * power steering fluid change
    * rear diff fluid change
    * wash/wax
    * All 4 door weather seals
    * Window weather strips
    * Cupholder tabs
    * Camper shell weather sealing replacement
    * Shocks
    * Leafsprings
    * Brake Pads/Rotors/Fluid
    * Fuel filter replacement
    * Big 3 upgrade/replacement
    * Grease all the joints

    Planned Upgrades:
    * new headunit w/backup camera, Bluetooth, CarPlay (since in the new version google maps works!), internal navigation, SiriusXM
    * sound deadening cab
    * HID headlights
    * Weathertech mats (come on group buy lol)
    * Seat Covers (for the back at the very least)
    * LED lights all around
    * seats... still debating getting current ones restuffed, IS/GS seat swap, or more like racing seats
    * Homelink buttons
    * Gentech Mirror (compass/temp)
    * Scuba tank holder (still thinking how this will work)
    * Steering wheel upgrade (hand controls)
    * Transmission cooler
    * Tundra big brake upgrade

    Maybe Upgrades:
    * 4x4 Conversion
    * E-locker? Can you do a pre-runner e-locker then a 4x4 conversion using the same e-locker?
    * speaker upgrades

    Highly Unlikely but still want upgrades:
    * TRD Supercharger

    Completed Mods:
    * Nothing yet.... =(

    Anything I am missing from the list?

    Fuck jiffy lube or whatever jackass did the last oil change on the truck. They A) forgot the gasket so it was leaking and B) put the bolt on wayyyyyyyyy to tight. Anyways, oil change done and fumoto valve installed. What was suppose to be a 30 minute job took more like 2 hours, tried to be extra careful not to Rick up the oil bolt threads.

    A few tweaks

    Sure, as long as you run the same gear ratio front and rear, no problem.
