Just picked up my 1st truck in the TRD off road in the cement. I notice the JBL speaker vibrates somewhere around there. Is there a fix for this? Notice this only with higher bass

Nearly every factory system I've ever worked with buzz's once the bass is increased past 25% gain, especially near max.

Yup, mine rattles somewhere by the left air vent. Vent is tight, seems to be some cable harness not tied behind the cluster. Just don't want to go to the dealer and them say rattles are common on trucks.

I have the JBl system. Mine has a door rattle coming from the speakers, haven't gotten around to getting sound deadening material in yet.

I take it you've never owned a vehicle with a sub OP? Anything with enhanced bass is gonna rattle turned up. It's a Tacoma, not a Benz.

This is a bummer. You bought a top of the line Tacoma with upgraded audio and it rattles? To make it worse, people say it's to be expected. I had hoped Tacomas were more solid than that.

It is the 3rd gen section and some of the complaints or "issues" here are well...I have a 2017 with JBL and I don't notice any rattling unless I'm stupid with the bass for some reason, but I grew up in the 2000's where that was the cool thing to do ;)

Just saw your post, but better late than never. These plastic rattles drove me insane, especially with any acoustic music, but I followed some suggestions in this post https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/passenger-side-dash-speaker-cover-side-lid-rattle-and-vibration-noise-resolved.462969/ and threw some felt tape around the base of the A pillars and all over the window controls and this eliminated 90% of the high pitch vibrations. Definitely a cheap, temporary fix until you get some quality sound deadening material throughout the doors. Hope this helps
