I haven't been on it it years, but if it's anything like it used to be, you'll be fine. That was the first "trail" I did in my stock truck.

Trip report with video and photos please. I would like to try Pronghorn in my stock '18 DCLB too.

I've done the 'Middle Wall'... but that is pretty wide compared to Pronghorn.

I did the wall on pronghorn. I had to hug the left side but once I locked the rear we went right up the wall. I have a short video of it on my instagram. Jerry_statefarmnewburypark

Did you continue on Pronghorn past the Quail Track? There are some narrow switchbacks on the length of Pronghorn.

We hit Vics cat trail down to freeman wash, cut across up and over on homestead to rattler down to pronghorn, up the rock wall and carried pronghorn back to power line rd.

I was the only Tacoma in about 13 Jeep wranglers.

Vic's is a nice downhill with a sharp right turn, Homestead from Freeman is steep climb and sharp left at the top. Nice to see a DCLB can do all that....air down at all?

Yes, I was aired down to 18. The vics right hand sharp turn was one of the worst spots. had to back up to make the turn while on 3 wheels. Had a spotter standing on my rear bumper. Right after that turn there is some more hairy obstacles. The group I went with was very helpful and knowledgeable. Are you on facebook at all? Join the group Channel Islands 4x4 club.

I will check them out. Next time you get a itch to try Gorman again, let me know, I'll tag along with you. I know the place very well, having ridden every trail on a dirt bike since 1995.
But taking my daily driver is another adventure all together.

I will let you know. I just do not have a lot of experience and as long as we have a good tow strap or two is all the recovery gear that was used this weekend. I have plans this weekend but maybe the next few weeks we can try to get another group from here to go.

Ok, beginner here too....There is a large organized truck/car/SxS rally happening at Gorman on Aug 25/26 and most of the trails will be closed to the public. Ballinger Canyon is another spot for some easy trails. I know that place very well too.

Just FYI the Flying J is under construction. The gas stations that are open is either shell/chevron or a AMPM.

Thanks for the info. Still the parking spaces at flying j will suffice. Should be no problem.
