I actually done a bastardized version with them, we had a bunch of just plain beef meatballs (daughter doesn't like them all spiced up) that had been in the fridge for a few days, I chopped them up and cooked them with some onions and mushrooms (green peppers give me bad indigestion) then tossed on some provolone and tossed it on a hoagie bun. Sprinkled with a little salt and pepper and it was GOOD.

Yeah I did a "5 dishes using already browned hamburger meat" or something like that

Its kind of long but I did
    Philly
    Sloppy Joes
    Tacos
    Chilli
And a kind of beef pot pie hot pocket thing

And they all started with ground beef that had been browned with nothin but garlic and onion powder

My wife found a recipe once that called for condensed tomato soup (and other stuff of course) and we have tomatoes basil and they were awesome. I had been doin some pizzas and stuff and got to looking at pizza sauce and it already had most of the other stuff in it plus its basically well seasoned condensed tomato soup so I used it and bbq sauce to slop up my Joes. Its easy and I always have both at the house so as long as there is bread around ill never starve

I do a version of Sheppard's Pie my gramps taught me growing up that uses condensed tomato soup, many times I have made my own and just reduced it down in the recipe. KILLER, it's as far from the traditional version as one can get but it's a part of my growing up. Now I have my family and my wifes family hooked on it. :)

Hey guys my sponsor gave me a sirloin that is about 3/4" thick and just over 2 lbs (its freaking huge) I was thinking on basically making a constructed Spicyy italian beef pinwheel kinda thing. Just put all the stuff inside and butcher twin that baby up and let her go all day in the crockpot. I will probably omit most of the liquid ingredients but how do you think this will fair? Or what kind of video would y'all wanna see with a 2lb sirloin (other than me trying to eat 2lbs worth of steak in under 15 minutes or something)

That looks really good but he said he was looking for meals that prep/cook time was less than 30 mins (crockpot dont count as cook time since they are basically set and forget) since school was Start in back people were looking for quick and easy. But I may grab another steak from him and do that around thanksgiving or Christmas

Is it just me or has flank steak gotten stupidly expensive? Like $9 a lb or more here.

Beef prices went up a couple years ago (on hoof) and so meat went up but beef came down and the meat market never really reflected it. I'm usually lucky enough to kill 2 or 3 deer a year so I almost never buy beef but it is stupid high when I do, even hamburger meat is usually ~$4 a on which is nuts to me. When beef was approaching an all time high, my dad sold an old cow (too old to have calves so she was headed straight to the grinder) he got $.99 per pound on her... He told me to expect meat prices to sky rocket and they did

It’s crazy, I blame the fajita industry for flank getting so high. :)

I picked up 3 this past weekend still need a couple more for some upcoming cooks this week. Going to do a beef and broccoli in the instant pot.

It has gone up. Can buy prime rib for that price. I like flank, but the rib will win out every time at that price.
