What have you gotten included from the dealer for free?

Nice work man. Those prices can be had it just all depends on the dealer and region.

I’m still wondering how much off MSRP a dealer can go until they legit don’t make any money. True invoice. They always say they’re losing money but we all know how that goes.

 

I pitted 3 dealerships against one another and negotiated for about a month via email.

That’s exactly what I did. After my accident the two dealers in town knew that I was going to get another and both went back and forth sweetening the deal.

I’ve been pretty impressed with my dealer. I told them what I wanted and they really worked on getting it. They looked for and took delivery of one specific with what I wanted. In the end the other dealer offered me an extra $100 off but I wanted to give my business to the dealer I have been using for the last 4 vehicles.

 

Be sure you read that very very carefully before you get excited.

Its a 3rd party provision (not Toyota) and most have quite restrictive requirements on vehicle maintenance to keep the warranty valid.

Remember, the purpose of any extended warranty is profit for the seller, not to actually help the buyer.

 

Truth! I havn't gone down and spoken with a salesman quite yet,just got a new job as a sheriff deputy,so I'll be making quite a bit more money. Just waiting a few more months,then I'll get serious! Thank you for the heads up for sure,I don't want to get ripped off

 

Actually your wrong lol they can. I had to bring the truck back for them to install them I asked for that as an extra and the gave me a discount on the price. It’s not factory Toyota heated seats they are aftermarket

 

Use True Car and have dealers bid for your business. I bought mine with Technology and the Tonneau Cover for $34,110.

My 2017 was listed for $34,418 with a bed mat and clear front paint protection.

Ended up paying $20,500 after trade.

What helped me is it was sitting on the lot, so they took $250 off, which was basically getting the mat and paint protection for free

 

Deals are out there if you use the Internet and then pit dealers against each other. Ask for a offer sheet with all the details on MSRP, accessories and out the door price. Then use that to get better deals with other dealers. Do not be afraid to drive an hour or so to get the best deal. The dealer who I bought 2 Tacomas from told me that the deal I am getting on my 2018 Offroad with Prem/Tech wasn't possible. Since then, I have another dealer in Pinehurst willing to take $500 off the best offer from Fred Anderson Toyota in Raleigh and "throw in" the Predator nerf bars.

 

I picked up my 2018 TRD OR for about $4000 below MSRP before any rebates were applied so I was pretty happy. While I was 100% going to make the purchase, I acted hesitant due to it not having a bed mat. They added it at no cost.

and a free bowl of soup

 

I receive a free complimentary cup of coffee... all out of doughnuts minutes after they open so I loose out on that too. But they do have a cool water cooler ( which is free also )

 

I picked up my DCLB TRD Off Road last Friday and they threw in all weather floor mats and a Toyota hat. Salesman made the joke that I bought an expensive hat and the truck came for free.

 

They messed up on my warranty, instead of 8 services i get 8 oil changes free

 

I got window tint, carpet floor mats and clear plastic covering over the door/ hood edges. I think these things were already on the truck as they had to go get it from another dealership.
