2001 Prerunner that's been in the family since 2002. Family member replaced it with a 4x4 2nd gen and I couldn't watch it go so I told my wife it followed me home :notsure: Not really sure what direction I'd like to go with it yet so I just started by making it road-worthy. If I make it my daily driver I'd probably want to convert it to 4x4. anyway, slow-going due to my other project car that I really should be finishing before taking on another.

Here it is when it was new to us in 2002

2017 when I picked it up. Needed a little love but still solid!

Cleared the headlights and spiffed up the damage multiplier

Rear bumper and tow hitch were rusted out so they were pulled.

Shocks/springs were original and at 161k! it's impressive how long they lasted. It felt unsafe on the road so I picked up the Rancho leveling kit and added Tundra calipers while I was at it.
