My apartment complex does not have any outdoor faucet connections. Currently, I take all my washing equipment to the quarter car wash in town when my Tacoma needs a bath to use their pressure washers. Are there any options for utilizing a pressure washer when outdoor water connections are not available?

Other then a pressure washer with a integrated water tank to fill i don't know of any other options, for those imprisoned within restrictive apartment complexes.

Depending on the severity of the dirt you can look into using "waterless wash" and a whole bunch of plush microfiber cloths.

Not sure how far you are from a sink?
But I have used a sink to hose adapter and run my pressure washer off that.
Not great for pressure washer but works.
Got mine on ebay for just few bucks.
    Make sure to get metal.

I've considered that but I wasn't sure if a standard kitchen sink would have enough flow to use with a pressure washer.

Tell a buddy you’ll give him a case of beer if he lets you use his driveway and hose??

if your apartments don't have outdoor faucets, getting around that fact by using a sink adapter may be against their rules.

I would talk to management about this prior to you going through the hassle of trying to make it work. I live in apartments at the moment as well, and I do have a faucet right out front my door. I asked if I could run my washer a couple times a month and was given a firm no. "Trying to keep the water costs down". Lame.

My water usage is for my single unit. I have a typical water usage bill every month so that's not an issue.

Have you looked into the Worx Hydroshot? The pressure washer is battery operated. I believe if you can’t connect to a garden hose, you can use a bucket of water instead.

If you had a large enough container and a submersible pump you could run it off that but seems problematic for you. Say a plastic 55 gal drum or even a 20 gal. But youd need a way to transport and fill. Just a thought but not a very good one...

It has work well for me many times.
    I have a black max 2800psi.
I have pressure washed a bunch of decks and my own truck using the sink adapter.
    Works fine for me.
Like I said it may not be what's best for the pressure washer but it only cost me $250 and I made that $ back on my first few jobs:thumbsup:

The flex hoses work well in the sink..if you leave a small bit of hose in sink.
The reg hose a small amount of water runs down hose onto floor. Over time builds up

I live in a apartment and cannot use the garden hose. I just go to the local carwash early in the morning, like at daybreak. I can hand wash, rinse, and even wax without having to move for someone wanting to wash their car. I just take a bucket of soapy water along with what I need to get the job done. I do miss having access to a garden hose though.

Rinseless wash like Optimum No Rinse or Quick n East Wash using two buckets would be a good solution for you.
