I’d go with a super duty axle instead of a kingpin. Just my thoughts on that because that would save you some cash. By the time you get a king pin axle to be strong you’ve put an ass of money into it. Also the tubes are thinner than a super duty axle.

There’s a lot more on why people choose super duty axles over king pins. They’re like 10+ years ago also haha.

Yea. I've been seeing a lot more rigs getting SAS'd with the Super Duty axles. I'm still at least a decade out from SASing my Taco, so for all I know something better and stronger could be out by then. Either way, I'm still extremely happy with how my Taco does right now. Here and there I wish I had bigger tires, a front locker and super low gearing, but I'm taking all the hard lines with just a little bit of effort to make it up. Can't really ask for much more right now.

knock on wood, NO. wife got pulled over once in west sac. truck was covered in filth. not sure if that was the reason or what. she said it looked like he didn't wanna ticket her.

Hit up paul at Tint Cali. He's done all my cars for the last 10 years. Great Work and he doesn't charge an arm and a leg
