Truck Camping Photo Thread

Lots of smoke in Owens Valley from the fires. This morning was better. Nice and clear. Getting hazy again now.

 

I will be there in 4 weeks. I hope the smoke clears up...

 

Anyone do any camping in the Mount Rogers National Rec Area (Jefferson National Forest) in SWVA? Looking for some roadside camping off of forest roads. Preferably by a running water and away from campgrounds. Any help would be appreciated!

Just got back from Cape Lookout National Seashore. Absolutely beautiful out there, do a trip every year.

Just saw this in a local Toyota FB group!

 

Nearly a year ago, a group of us did a trip through Montana, Wyoming, and eventually Utah. It's taken a while to write it up since it was such a crazy adventure and we had tons of photos to coordinate, but we've started - the first four chapters are posted already. Doing it a bit differently this time - @Blackdawg and I were both on the trip, so we're writing parallel stories. Pretty cool to see how we each remembered the same trip.
