I only got round washers and no square ones when my sliders arrived a coupe of months ago. When I asked I was tolds that it didn't matter. Seems a bit inconsistent.

I don’t mind the new hardware, these new square washers seem way beefier. I just want some clarification from @JLee like do I have all the parts? and where to use the square washers vs fender. One each bolt side and nut side? What about the 2 larger fender washers.

Yes you have everything im assuming your the guy from the TW Express drop off. We were out of the fender washers so we just gave you some of the old washers we had laying around. And yes you need to at least prime all bare metal parts.

I agree that they look beefier. I'm disappointed that I didn't get them. Seems like they ran out and just tossed whatever they had in the box until they got more. Now I wonder if I should source some myself. I shouldn't have to, but I might.

You dont need the old washers they have not been used for years. We ran out of grade 8 fender washers so we gave him old washers that we no longer make so he could install his sliders.

Got cha. From your instructions looks like the fender washers go on the bolt side and square washers go on the nut side. I counted 5 bolts on each side that would need a washer on the other end. So since I only have 9 steel washers, I should just use one of the larger fender washer on that remaining bolt side?

    Does that sound right?

Thanks Jerry, slider build quality is amazing!

So I finally got around to installing them today, went on pretty easy but I have 4 bolts left over. Is that normal @JLee ?

I used 12/16 of the longer bolts.

What is the approximate weight per 80" slider? I'm looking at lifting my truck and want to add up the additional payload of my mods so far.

You guys ship replacement parts? I need a new welded piece with the two top lock nuts. I'd be willing to swing by and pick one up as well if shipping a piece like that is a headache.

What happens when you don’t snug both bolts on the metal piece before torquing.

Thanks @JLee for the replacement piece. Learned my lesson.

After helping an install of these (second set including mine), I only have one suggestion/request:

Please include a replacement bolt for the frame bolt that is reused. Trying to get that thing threaded back in is a mother..

That said, no one should hesitate to buy these monsters.

Yeah, that's how I did mine and we did his. I only had an issue with my driver side, passenger side buttoned right up.

We ended up putting a placeholder in while we got the rest of the bolts in for the passenger side and then tightened everything down. Original bolt popped right in then. Didn't have the same luck with the driver side with it lined up and using clamps. Ended up using a a different bolt that went through all the way and put a nut on the other side for now. We lost daylight.. and patience haha

I bet you the frame opened up when you removed it that's why you had issues putting it back in.

Thought that after the first side. Threaded the bolt in without the sliders on just fine, its just a short bolt with the added metal between it and the frame. Should be fine with the bolt we used instead on the one side, but just something I've noticed on two third gens.. because they're a pain in the ass.

First time seeing your new powder tho, it's slick. I sort of prefer the older kind that mine has, but the touch up you offer on your site makes it a lot easier for the customer for sure.

How should I touch up the powder coat? I have a Knick that’s deep enough to see metal and I am beginning to see rust..
