Did you make two folders on the thumb drive called : Startupimage and Displayoffimage ? ( I presume this is the part you missed :)

(you can also name the files respectively Startupimage.jpg and Displayoffimage.jpg inside the aforemetnioned folders.)

and is your thumb drive 32GB or smaller?

    that is it.

I used one of the images I found online but photoshopped the word “Sport” in place of “Off Road”.

Thanks. I made the image awhile back so I'm not sure if I still have it. If I do, I'll post it. If not, maybe I'll make it again.

    Edit:

Couldn't find the original so I made it again.

This is pretty awesome. The wife drives the truck primarily so I’m going to put the images on as a surprise.

For some reason, when the image pops up, it's for a split second. Sometimes it'll stay on for about two seconds, but most of the time its about half a second. Any ideas?

That's how the startup screen works. Congressionally mandated "safety" equipment included obnoxious idiot warning that 'must' be shown on every vehicle with a touchscreen upon startup.

Start up image is only for a brief period. Display off image stays until you utilize something entune system. From the home screen, you press the 'gear' in the top right corner, then says display off. Let me know if this helps.

Right, I understand it’s for a short period, what I am saying is most of the time, the image isn’t even on long enough for you to tell what it is. Sometimes it stays on for around two-three seconds. Just wondering if anybody else has this issue.
