Dang, I didn’t realize the 4runner doesn’t protrude out. I’ll have to ask Pelfrey again as to how it’ll unbolt, but I was told it can be removed.

Hey guys, I know there is a sizable group from DFW following this thread. I got an email from a customer wondering if we knew anyone int he area that could possibly help them install some sliders. Just figured I would reach out to you all before I recommended a shop!

Yeah, those aren’t hard at all.

Are they a member here? We have a big DFW thread here:

Tandem Auto is the shop we generally recommend.

The table is held down by gravity and kept up by the 2 wing nuts mentioned. They are a nyloc wing nut that is a little tight at first. However, after a few uses they get easier to take off. They have never come loose. I personally wouldn't want a tension device holding it. The last thing I would want is hitting a big bump and that thing coming out and rubbing on my tailgate.

I doubt that would happen with two tension latches on each side. If the table comes down you will have bigger problems with the vehicle than the table coming down.

    Tension latch sure is nice.

    Starting from 53 seconds here.

So, now that they have $1000 of mine, and having business issues, I’m more than a little worried about the future.

Yeah I know everyone is concerned. Hopefully this laborday weekend ends up being a successful one and this is just bump on the road.

Right now, I am going to wait until I see what else is released before I make any judgments. They have my money for my preorder as well, so I will just have to wait and see.

Fingers crossed for a positive outcome. I sure hope they make it. And not just because they’ve got thousands of my dollars too.

While a bit concerning, I have nothing but optimism for @Pelfreybilt and the #PelfreybiltFamily. I currently rock a @Pelfreybilt front bumper, high clearance rear bumper, full @Pelfreybilt skids, and @Pelfreybilt sliders on my junk. Their work is seriously high quality and, at least in my opinion, tier-1-second-to-none. Maybe I'm naive, but I like to believe that this hobby/sport/industry has an appreciation for quality. Obviously, people not unlike myself are willing to pay for said quality. I'll gladly and proudly sport my @Pelfreybilt products in the face of any skeptics as I have yet see their equal. @Pelfreybilt has my support not only because they have my $1000 deposit but because their products are, in my worthless opinion, superior.
