Just bought a 2006 Tacoma, 4x4, access cab, long bed, has 2" lift. Just wanted to say Hello. I've also been looking at bumpers, so much info is making my head spin. Any thoughts on bolt on or weld on slider bars? So far like the look of Pelfreybilt bumpers, thinking aluminum for front with full light bars...doubt if I will do any rock crawling, but lots of rocks around here:) Lots of good info in the threads, I know, but really just wanted to say hello, from Tucson.

Hi, still trying to figure out how to post, 60,208 miles, single owner. It had a soft topper, took it off, and found a fiberglass topper on CL. Truck is way bigger than my Subaru, still trying to get used to driving it:)

Nice. Mine has a softopper and I love it. I got mine with 66k miles about two years ago and it's still going strong at about 90k miles. You found a gem

You found a nice truck too. I didn't like the softtopper, thought the windows were hard to see out of, and afraid the flapping would scare the dogs. I looked at a lot of trucks before buying this one, hard to find any with low miles. Of course, the dogs want to ride up front, didn't think I wanted an access cab, but it actually comes in handy, took all 4 dogs for a ride up the mountain last weekend, too hot here for them to ride in the back, this time of year.
