Not sure what kind of grass you have but here in the northeast our grass goes dormant for a few weeks every summer. Watering will help a little but it still gets thinned out, growth is stunted, gets brown in areas. I battled it for years with watering which again only helped a little. I added some different species grass seed in addition to what was there and it helped a little more. Now i dont bother and relish that 2 or 3 weeks off from mowing

My parents had a landscape and nursery business when I was a kid. Every day after school and on weekends I'd go to the job sites and help dig trenches and lay pipe. Throw up some pictures of the area and some basic measurements and I'd be happy to shoot some ideas your way. What size water main do you have? What's the unregulated pressure? If you're just trying to water a large area without needing exact spot coverage, a couple zones of Rainbird Impact Pop-Ups would be the simplest (and to me most pleasing) way to go. At my old house there was a large lawn right outside the bedroom windows and I set the irrigation timer as my alarm clock because I loved waking up to the sound of impact sprinklers.

Ill shoot you a PM when I get home and talk it over with ya. The sprinkler stuff may or may not happen. Im going to be renting a trencher for another project was the main reason this one popped up. Plus redoing the garden bed watering setup as right now I have to run a garden hose to it.

Another thing that is real handy is to put a ball valve before each group of valves. That way you can quickly shut off one area without shutting down the whole system/house.

If you don't have one of these for hanging doors I can definitely recommend it after using mine for the first time today

Nice. Really could have used one of those about 7 years ago during this restoration fiasco.
