It is completely your option how many woofer's you wish too purchase. If you buy three it will completely take the back space behind the rear seats. The airspace is 0.5ft^s-0.61ft^3 and optimally it's 0.61^3

Knowing how subwoofer's are supposed to be wired (www.bcae1.com) I suggest the D2.
