    I am trying to locate the blower fan resistor on my Tacoma prerunner 2004. I can find it for 2005 but no luch on the 2004. Any help appreciated.

    Just got around to locating resistor, right where you said. Ordered one (less than $14). I tested it and got bad reading so I am hoping this is the problem, will let you know. Thanks again.Thanks "Jonny 9 Fingers".

    Changed the resistor didn't seem to be solution. I may have failed to mention that the fan runs on low only. Is there a way to test the switch ? It looks like the three control panel is attached by 1 screw on driver side and 2 on passenger side.
