You guys that put your dogs in the back seat....dont they scuff the shit out of your interior? I have the black interior with orange stitching, and it seems like if you look at any of the interior black plastic/vinyl stuff (door panels, glove box, etc) too harshly, it gets scuffed and scratched.

I have a 1 year old chocolate lab and I wanna let her ride in my truck, but I just can't lol. I know for a fact she would scratch everything up inside because she always has to be moving all over the place. My door panels and center console would be fucked.

I took the passenger seat out of my 99 single cab 4x4, and she rides shotgun in there with me lol. Even in that little truck, she sometimes tries to climb over the center console into my lap while I'm driving (and it's a stick shift). I don't know if I'll ever wanna let her in my Inferno

You could always build a platform.

I have the grey cloth interior. He doesn’t scratch it up, although h le did nibble on the center seatbelt buckle, so now it is rough and coarse instead of smooth feeling. Teethers, what can you do? :)

Highly recommend. Also she is old and can not fall onto floor. She loves it and this is her favorite position.
She has been the best dog ever. Now she is having trouble walking and our time with her is running out. It is a sad time for us. My wife and I got her in may of 2004 when we moved into our house. My youngest daughter just turned 4 at the time andIMG_20180810_194946.jpg She just graduated high school this year. Baby is 14 and 5 months so she has out lived any other Rottweiler that I know and I have been retired for 6 years so have been able to make sure she has had a great dog life. We have been utilizing the Tacoma for what it is really built for, family bonding. 2 trips to the beach every day with baby.

Don't want to bum you guys out Baby has had a great life and she was and still is very spoiled. Just wish we could have more time with her.

She is beautiful! I am very sorry for you and your family! I can definitely relate. My (not so) little guy started losing function of his back half sometime last fall. I really hoped he would make it to after the holidays, but then I realized that that would just prolong his suffering. Had to say goodbye mid December; it sucked, obviously, but I was glad that I could bring him comfort during his last days and he seemed to be happy, surrounded by his pack. He had a really good and long life. He was either 12 or 13 (adopted him-wasn't sure if he was 2 or 3 at the time).
My best to you and your family. I hope that she is a happy dog, for all the days you have left with her!
Here's my guy a couple months before he passed:

Thank You everyone! She has been a bit better the past few days she is enjoying the cooler weather and was able to wake me up at 6.a.m to go out side and pee. This is a huge accomplishment for her. No false hope or anything but if she can take a few steps with me helping her and pee I know she will be comfortable. That is her main problem, holding in her pee because she doesn't want to get up and that leads to infection.
So for those with big dogs this device has helped me get Baby up off floor and helped her go up and down stairs. I mostly carry her up the 3 steps to house these days but this thing has helped for the past 2 years in just giving her some stability. she was still walking about 3/4 miles a day up until last month. Any way as your dog gets older this this is really worth it.

That hammock is a life saver and when ever people come over and say hi to Baby, If they have dogs I show it to them. Not just for saving the seats but for older dogs or puppies so they don't fall on floor. I also place a harbor freight $5 moving blanket over it to help with drool or accidents.

Also everyone enjoy you puppies and walk them often, Baby walked 2 miles a day for years and sometimes up to 5 miles. She also ate a meat and vegetable diet, no carbs, When she got her blood work done last year all was that of a much younger dog it is just the damn arthritis that gets all of them in the end. She can still see all the way down the block in the dark, hearing and smell is on point. Ofcourse this is what makes it so hard because she seems so lively much of the time.

So going through our sad time TW has certainly helped with getting my mind off things and not just draining my bank account on a daily basis. LOL
I am usually taking pics of my truck so when I see me sitting in it, it seems a little wierd like hearing your voice in a video or something.lol
Either I think I look small or the truck looks big.

Thank you! They really do! And they seem to have a way of sticking around forever. I still find rottie hair hidden in corners and in clothes. Wishing you the best with your girl.
