Colorado Springs Tacoma's (CST) Events and Pic Heavy Trail Reports

This is a thread for Colorado Springs Tacoma's Events and Meet Up's, check out our facebook page as well: August 2018:
25th 6pm - Brandon Dyster Detail Clinic - CANCELED
Brandon Dyster is hosting a detail clinic to answer all your detailing questions and demo some of his methods, (he is a wizard)!
Loc: 3820 Hawk Ln, Colorado Springs, CO 80917

Please bring the following so that you can follow along through the clinic on your own vehicle.
1. An old towel for drying
2. A tube of wax (of your choice) Brandon uses Meguiars Black from Walmart for roughly $12 and comes with an applicator.
3. A bottle of interior protectant (of your choice) again, Brandon uses Meguiars Natural shine which is available at Walmart and works great for tires as well.
4. A pack of cleaning towels (Walmart as well) does not have to be anything special or expensive.

Also, please clean out your truck prior to clinic (large trash, unnecessary cargo, etc) to save time and make the clinic more efficient and effective.

Brandon has a power washer, vacuum , polisher, and claybar kit that attendees are welcome to use.

Let’s enjoy some tacos and admire Danny Woods new Vagabond Camper. This is a great opportunity to see first hand a Vagabond camper in person.

1st - St. Elmo and Hancock Pass Trail Ride from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM (leave when needed)

Meet-up spot: Loaf’ N Jug, 4098 Arrowswest Dr, Co Springs (dirt lot in back)

This will be a all day event for all levels of drivers and trucks...with one exception. The Hancock Pass trail is rated 4-4 on the Trails Offroad website and you will need 4 Wheel Drive. This is for everyone's safety. Also, families and pets are welcome on this trip. We will drive to St Elmo, regroup, air down and head up Hancock Pass. On Hancock Pass trail there are several Miner Ghost Towns and abandoned mines, should be a blast! Bring lunch, we will tailgate at the top of the pass, then head back down. Lets be safe and have fun!

16th 8:30AM - Medano Pass and Sand Dunes Trail Ride
Fall colors trip to the Sand Dunes over Medano pass.

Loc: We will meet at the gas station in Westcliffe and caravan from there. Kid and dog friendly! Meet up time is 830am

December 2018:
1st - 4:30pm Participating in Festival of Lights Parade
- we will decorate our trucks with lights and get lit on downtown Colorado Springs

I’d love to but I have to hit up a few junkyards tomorrow. Getting on a time crunch for the race truck trying to find hard to find parts lol.
