I have an older set of the LCA skids and just bought an IFS skid from BAMF as well. I could not install the IFS skid without taking off the LCA skids. Nothing a cutting wheel and grinder won't take care of but just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

That is correct the version one of our LCA skids need to be modified to fit. So yes everyone with our old LCA skids will need to trim the tab to mount the IFS skid.

Cool, thanks for the reply! They desperately needed a paint refresh anyways. Time to bust out the cutting wheel and grinder :sawzall:

Jerry, can you throw up a current shot of what the LCA skid looks like? I've read there has been a new design, just can't seem to find an image/not sure what the new vs old would be. Thanks.

Wondering if the LCA skids will work with the @Mobtown Offroad front IFS skid without any modifications...? Thanks in advance for the info.

Just got 'em for 2nd gen. Awesome quality and customer service. Honored a order cancellation and put in a new order to save a couple of bucks. Quick to install. You should use a step drill bit on the hole closest to the lower ball joint for the cleanest hole. Spray paint the freshly exposed metal. Install the short carriage bolt near the lower ball joint (need to use open ended wrench due to CV axle interference), middle sized carriage bolt in front, longest carriage bolt toward the rear.

Your results may vary but my skids rub. I would guess about 1/4", but my castor is maxed out for clearance on the LCA and adjusted on the aftermarket UCA.
