When i first bought... (3 months ago)

2nd: Bought a shell and started building storage/bed

    Next were the tires/wheels:

    IMG_0922.jpg

During the tire installation i had them check out my A/C that was wasn't working at all. Said i needed a new 'dryer receiver' and that with labor it would cost $430. I said no thanks and bought the part and some refrigerant at Orielly's and fixed it myself. (EASY)

And just today i cleaned the engine bay (wishing i had a before pic)

Truck looks awesome. Love the storage in the back. What are the specs? What’s did you pick up for $? Miles? Suspension upgraded? What’s next?

Huh... I'll be damned. That's definitely strange - I know for sure Toyota put it under the bed in 2001-2004. I don't see what difference it would make if it was under the bed like it is on most 01-04 trucks.

Was your truck sold in California? Take a pic of the emissions sticker under the hood. It'll say if it's a Cali spec truck, or a 48 state truck.

The emissions sticker under your hood will say the engine displacement, some other emissions info, and more importantly whether it came equipped as a California emissions truck or a 48 state emissions truck.

The CA spec'd vehicles, for the most part, had more emissions equipment on the drivetrain. For example, most 48 state federal emissions spec'd trucks did not come with a factory EGR. ALL California spec'd trucks came with a factory EGR.

Here is the difference in stickers. On the top is my PreRunner build and sold in Fremont, California with the California Emissions system. On the bottom is my 5-Lug sold in Sparks, Nevada with the 48 State Emissions system.

My 5-Lug is one of the weird 48 State trucks that came with an EGR Valve, which in fact was led to the demise of it. Only issue with it is a clogged EGR valve.

    If it doesn't say:

    Screen Shot 2018-08-29 at 10.07.17 PM.jpg

Then it wasn't sold in California, and instead has the 48 State Federal emissions system.

I love this state, but the laws are strict. And there are definitely some stupid ones.

Oh yeah. California may be strict on Emissions, but we don't have state inspections. I know other states are really anal about those kinds of things.

Thanks. Specs on the truck or the storage?185k. Pretty sure it’s the stock lift. Just taller tires than stock. Possibly a lift in the future

Replaced the LEDs in my Cobra 75WXST. Came out a little darker orange & brighter output than I wanted but I still like it better than the green. I don't like to run my dash lights full brightness so I prefer the CB to be more dim also. It'll do for now until the next time I need to order more electronics stuff.
