Before I do something really stupid, maybe someone can talk some sense into me.

I have on opportunity for a pair of 2.5 x 14 King 2 tube bypasses with piggyback resis. Seems everywhere that makes rear shock mounts are compatible with the remote resi designs.

What would have to be done to make these piggyback resis work? Is it possible?
    Cut the bed?
    Wheel spacers?

Most people use smooth body shocks with reservoirs for soa, that's why most people have resi mounts like you mentioned. If the reservoir is clocked in line with the shock to be in front or behind it then the bypass tubes will probably stick out more than it and would be the limiting factor in tire rub.

I'm not sure how you plan on mounting the shocks so I can't say if they will fit and how they will have to be mounted.

Thanks. I talked to some friends in the know, and it could be done, but I'd need to cut through the bed and have a cage built. Not a commitment I'm willing to make on my workhorse right now.

I have 16" 3tube bypasses with the piggy back resi with my sua and a bed cage. My tires do rub at full stuffs even with 1.5" wheel spacers. Wheel offset also comes into play.

with 14s you could just barely have those fit with out going though the bed. it would need custom upper and lower mounts, but should be able to work. you would also need to maybe run wheel spacers depending on what wheels you run now
