Holy bat-wings. I have seen them both ways. Some flat/level and some angled up. They do look more like running boards but they will definitely do their intended job. Now if they advertised them angled up that is a different story. One side benefit you will get from them being level is no door dings although it sounds like you didn't want them level.

Didn’t really do anything to the Taco except park it at the airport for the weekend. I’m always in search of a spot to lessen chances of door dings. Just thought it was funny I took up a “compact” spot. Lol45A30BDE-30F2-4025-B7B2-1F5A059FA8F1.jpg

But yes I doubt I’ll get any door dings with those things sticking out

Actually those are about what I would want but without the kick out and with full plates.

I feel like you have two options for that as I don’t think you can take apart your lights like that. Call a local tint shop and ask them if they can vinyl the lights. Or buy new lights. I got smoked winjets (taillights) off eBay and don’t regret it at all.

True but I don't rock crawl. Just good to have added protection and function as a running board.

Then can be taken apart. It's done all the time....it's just a bitch if you don't know what you're doing (like me). Those Winjet taillights look SHARP!

Traded the black plastic thing on the bottom for a black plastic thing on the hood. Then added the OEM roof rack.
I had debated on removing the air dam for a few months. I am so glad I did. I think she looks much better without it.

Definitely need to do a CMC. Front runs too. Looks amazing though!

They fit! Rub for sure though. Not sure how I feel about cutting the front of the bumper and liner though. CMC is soon to come!20180906_182443.jpg 20180906_183240.jpgHere is what I took off on the rear portion of the fender liner.

    Question....
Why would you rather chop a cab mount than trim some plastic?

I’m curious because I see a lot of people doing this. The thought of cutting metal is far less appealing to me than cutting plastic.

It's just the front that bugs me. I don't trust myself with that lol. I guess I'm not nervous about the CMC because it's easy to fix. Plastic isn't as easy.
