What's going on? I'm moving to Oahu in December and my truck currently has a 6in lift w/35 inch mud grapplers. Is this going to be an issue there? I was told 33's are the biggest you can go in Hawaii. Any info you can give would be great. Thanks in advance!

As long as you could pass recon to be legal you are good.

The 35s won't be an issue, some people run larger tires. The tires have to be under the fenders, so the tread that touches the ground is covered when viewed from above. Also, the rear tires have to have mud flaps, covering the full width and half the height of the tire when viewed from the rear. You'll also need an alignment print out, with your numbers within spec.

What type of things will they look for one the recon? My offset is -76 so the tires stick out pretty par? What happens if they fail the truck or what kind of things will make the truck fail?
