It is actually the JTP aftermarket grill:

    https://www.amazon.com/Tacoma-Grill...98048&sr=8-3-fkmr1&keywords=jlt+tacoma+grille

I went back and forth on buying the OEM version forever (I generally never buy anything aftermarket) but I ultimately decided that I didn't think the OEM PRO grille looked $350 better than the stock off-road grille. I DO think it looks $135 better though so I pulled the trigger on the JLT version.

There are quite a few good-looking aftermarket PRO grills out there but what I like about the JLT version is that the 'TOYOTA' letters come as one piece that simply screws right onto the surround. If you read reviews of the other knock offs, often times the letters have to be glued/taped on one by one on to the grille (possibility of not getting them perfectly straight which would drive me crazy) AND another common issue is if you look closely at the grilles that come with individual letters, often times a couple of them won't have the letter border painted black which makes those letters look out of place until you bust out the plasti-dip or paint pen and touch them up. The JTP doesn't have either of those issues which is why I went with that version.

I will say that when I received the packaging the 'Y' had fallen off and I had to glue it back into the surround with plastic-bonding epoxy. An easy fix but I am skeptical as to how long it will take other letters to fall off. If you look at the backside of the grill the way they are attached looks a little suspect. The letters do feel like they are on there tight if you try to jiggle them but if you have the money to blow and don't want to have to worry about buying another grill down the road because you lost your letters driving on the freeway (or on the trail), I would suggest ponying up for the OEM... I kind of wish I would have but maybe I'll get lucky - Just my $0.02

I’m getting mine done Thursday morning along with the AC blower motor repair done. Looking forward to seeing how it drives as how it drives now hasn’t bothered me much for the past 20k Miles. I did use ETC PWR for about 6 months straight but MPG was going down so I turned it off and have been driving without for some time now and it drives pretty good (8/10 scale).

Can never get tired of the beauty of the color inferno. Hit 15k miles yesterday after 15 months and still turn around evertime to look at my boy as I walk away. RIP inferno but damn glad I got one when I did. 045C00A5-F147-40DB-B618-2DC11D2D9479.jpg E5280B16-FAEB-4432-A25F-30BDC01DDA1B.jpg
