New Tacoma owner here. Looking to get a tonneau cover for the new truck. I mainly just want to secure golf clubs, camping gear, etc and be able to use it quickly but also looking for durability.

I saw some reviews on the backflip mx4 and that one looked like it would be exactly what I was looking for. Any thoughts on which ones you guys like?

Also trying to do this on somewhat of a budget

If you are going to keep this truck for a decade or two, then get what you want. You will be looking at this a long time...

All of these are solid brands and proven quality with a good organization behind them.
    1. DiamondBack HD or SE
      1. Throw a party on top of the HD (or an ATV)
      2. Watch fireworks with the family with the SE
      3. Load your gear on top
      4. Open the tailgate with the gear still on top.
      5. Bi-Fold. Middle mounting strip is always in the way.
      6. HD is very expensive. SE is inline with most other hard covers
    2. BAK M4
      1. 4 folds
      2. Folds up against back of cab for 90% bed access
      3. Can fold open and drive 1, 2, or 3 panels.
      4. Panels easily removed, leaving side rails
    3. Extang Encore
      1. 3 folds
      2. Front panel opens
        1. Front panel keyed with your truck key using a Bolt lock mechanism
      3. Panels easily removed, leaving side rails
    4. Extang Solid Fold 2.0
      1. 3 Folds
      2. Entire cover easily removed.
There are rolling covers. I am not a fan of the box. But if you want a recommendation, I can give one.

The Diamondback looks awesome, but they're definitely spendy!

Just picked up a new single cab this morning and looking into tonneau/security. Really like that black diamondback - any suggestions on locking tailgate options to go with it?
