Have you ran into any problems with up travel? Yes I know this kit is designed for down travel.

I haven't jumped my truck but between normal road driving, rock crawling and high speed dirt road action I haven't felt like the available up travel inhibited me.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

Who said this kit was designed for down travel? If installed properly you should have about a 50/50 split. Leaf springs are the up travel limiting factor.

From be pictures posted looks like there’s only 4 inches of up travel

It's between 5" and 6" with the lowers set about flat but you can rotate them down for even more down travel. Also most lifted Tacomas with a spring over don't get much more then 6" of up without over arching the leaf pack into a negative.

Question for you guys that have gone to a place to get this welded on. How many hours of labor should I be expecting to pay for someone to weld up the mount for me?

Looks good, but have you cycled it? Might be the angle, but it looks like the bump stop will barely be touching when the shock bottoms out. And those superbumps are soft and will pankcake pretty flat. Might need a spacer under the bump.

welding doesnt take much time, its the grinding down the welds that take the longest. Depending what he has for equipment it can range from 3-5 hours

Add about three hours to that if done right with braking the leaf pack down and cycle the suspension It's a 6 to 8 hour job.

Has anyone here installed a Fox rear shock with the relocation kit. If so what part number?

Ok this is probably a stupid question but fuck it. After 2hrs of googling and reading 5pages of this thread I can't find a good answer.

So what is the point of the shock relocation? I have been looking into it and the kit plus longer kings are about the same as kings in the stock location. But I figured longer shocks are better so would like to run this. Just not sure what its purpose is and is it a better option over stock location and why?

The point of the shock relocation is so you can fit a longer shock in there. A longer shock will give you more travel when flexing
