I put one of those on my tundra a few years ago and after about 6 months, the paint (red, white) wore off. Didn’t last long.

yeah I had one before as well, its a universal fit, so as long as you can get the bolts through the grill holes, it'll work.

my advice or what i would do if i got one again:
    - clear coat the badge when you get it, might make the paint last longer?
    - I also put some locktight on the threads before i screwed them into the badge side, mine kept coming loose.

I ended up just buying badges to stick on the car.. probably still try clear coating it though if the paint was that bad.

I should have cleared mine. I just put 2 extra nuts on. Mine would look monochrome on cold days and the color would almost come back on hot days. Maybe the other way around. Dunno... It was trippy lol

Yeah after a few months, the red turned an orangish color. The white became dull and dingy but The colors never “came back”. Lol. After 6 months, the color was completely gone, the whole thing was chrome. I admit though, I didn’t use clear coat.

Why not? It’s cheap enough so you can try it out.
