I've been reading this site for a year now and finally got around to registering.

My first Toyota pickup was a 1984 Reg cab 4wd, but it was stolen in '88 when i had one payment left on it. So I got a new '89 Xtra Cab 4wd and it's still my daily driver today. It has 300,000 miles and still gets the same mpg as when it was new.

So even though I don't really NEED a new truck yet, I figured what the hell.

In March I went looking for a 2010 AC OR 6spd but couldn't find one anywhere close to NJ, so I ordered one. My order was never picked up before the NUMMI plant closed, so I had to wait until the TX plant got going.

The dealer tells me my 2011 MGM AC OR 6spd is on it's way and should be here in about a week.

Thanks to everyone for the wealth of information available here.

Finally got a Tacoma! First time pick up owner, 2018 metallic grey TRD off road for a week now and love it! I was driving a 2017 Infiniti QX30 and changed for the Tacoma, no regrets!
