I installed a Kicker Digital sound processor (DSP) and an amp running off the factory deck using ********* Wiring harnesses. When I shut the truck down I get a loud pop through all speakers. Now I am guessing this is because there is still power going through the system because you can still open or close the windows for like 30 seconds after the engine is cut or you open a door.
Anyone run into this and is there a fix?
    Thanks

Does your amp turn off as soon as the ignition is turned off? With the amp I added (connected directly to the HU, no DSP) there is a control wire that comes from the wiring harness to the amp that turns the amp off when the ignition is turned off. Some amps sense the input signal to turn it off.

    Check your grounds.

Is it the Kicker key amp or a separate amp and dsp?

The amp does shut down with ignition off I used the wiring harness that taps into the head unit and Has the what I would think would be a turn on lead with it.
I checked the ground and ran a wire directly to the negative side of the battery just to test and I still get the pop. The DSP is seperate from the amp Head unit feeds the DSP and the DSP feeds the amp.

    Thanks

    Which amp?

It's done this from day one or just started recently?

Have you gotten any improvements since your first post? My 4 channel RF amp for my mids and highs pops when I turn off my truck. The mono RF amp for my sub turns off without a pop. It's driving me nuts.
