I've never thought to take the wings off first for some reason. Seems a lot easier

I've been meaning to target Peacock Bass. South Dakota trout right from river to campfire is memorable. I'll smoke a sailfish any day, soak the body in salt water with brown sugar and ice.

Still kicking myself for last year. opening day and I was stalking in on the first field and a yote was trailing me on hilltops at 45 yards. I let him walk cause there was a good deer in there. My dad got the deer though...

do you guys have a coyote season or is it open year round? Here its open year round. But I do understand not shooting at it at that time. I have some elk near me that Ive been holding off of target practicing just so I dont scare them off. Hopefully they stick around to the 15th of Oct ....Then its game on!

Year-round hunting. They are considered non-game species.

same here, but still need a license...I rarely see one close anymore. I shot one a couple years ago that came in to my cow elk call. I was on my atv and saw something run by me, I only had my .270 and it stopped about 20 feet from me and watched me take my rifle off my back and I shot it.

Coyotes aren’t that much of a problem imo, it’s hogs that are out if control.

We trap and hunt year around and they still keep coming. I invested in the boarbuster that has had a big impact on them.
