PS4: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Whooooooos buyin?

I've already preordered. I love Black Ops 3 and I know the series is always a hit with the general population. From what i've been reading they are going away from the jet packs and future and it's going to be a present day setting. Super stoked!

I'd link a trailer but the current one is m'eh. I think in May the official announcements and trailers will pop up.

 

Im not to sure if I will preorder it before I play it. I HATE all of futuristic Cods. I can't get off of WWII. Whats your ps4 tag if you play wwii lol

 

My PSN Tag is "Komokazzi", but I don't play WWII unfortunately. What do you hate about the futuristic aspects of the games? To think positively, I think the jetpacks add a whole new layer to gameplay. Infinite Warfare was just bad, but Black Ops 3 i genuinely like.

 

Supposedly getting a "Battle Royale" mode like how Fortnite is. Not sure what the big deal is, isn't the gameplay mode Free-for-All basically already that?

 

Official release date is TOMORROW (not to buy). Excited to see some full length official trailers though.

Still up in the air. I watched a lot of multipalayer gameplay and I’m just not as excited as i once was. I think WWII killed it for me. I’ve been playing since MW2.

 

I'm waiting to see if the hype on the Blackout mode is all for nothing or not. Battlefield is my jam.

 

COD is pretty whack now, told myself I wouldnt buy another one, but I do like all the Black ops. Switched to the latest BF, hope that new one is good.

 

Agreed. I'm like lvl 119 right now on ps4.

 

The Battle Royale mode is super fun, at least in the Beta. It's hard though and the beta forces you to play whatever sub-mode they have that day. It definitely needs more polishing i.e. plants still look pixelated and whatnot but i'm sure it'll all be smoothed out come official release. However, it's addicting. I don't usually play with any friends but i could see the BR mode being ultra fun if you and some buddies regularly played together.

Been playing Warface on PS4 nice thing is it's free.

 

I thought there would be more traffic in here, lol. Now that i've been playing the real Blackout for about a month I can still say it's super fun! I've gotten a handful of #1 victories, as well as numerous #2-10's. I love it. Every match is significantly different and strategy varies depending on where the map shrinks to. My favorite mode is Solo... In the Beta i got paired with some people who were assholes and i'm not into gaming to deal with assholes. Nothing gets your heart beating like a chance to get a #1 victory and it's just you and like 4 people left when the "circle" starts shrinking to non-existence.
