Will these be used for the cab rack as well, or are you designing something similar to bolt to the factory cab mounts?

We don't have the mount's quite squared away yet, but I can send you over the order page for the side plates in the meantime.

Yep, we'll be using these with an adapter plate to mount to the factory cab mounts.

Nice, is there enough space to tighten the track screws? Need ~1/2" even if using a custom cut hex wrench on the button cap screws. I'd consider lengthening the t-track plates top and bottom so those screws can be snugged with everything assembled.

Whats everyone using for carriage bolts? I can only find 1/4-20 in stainless and not M6, well I can find the M6 but they are stupid expensive. I think that's the issue, since 6mm is slightly smaller than 1/4". And I would much rather metric anyways.

This is to mount the cross bars to the Smitty mounts...also considering drilling holes in the crossbars and thru bolting right to the three holes in the Smitty mounts.

    Sorry for late response.

Yes, used a bench grinder to grind two parallel flat spots on head of the carriage bolt.

It works out quite nicely actually because it prevents the bolt from turning inside the channel as you tighten the nut.

Thanks man! I was able to get it to work out by cutting the feet at an angle. this allowed me to get the closed end wrench in there to tighten it all down.

Your pics/posts/responses were very helpful. Thanks!
