    Hey everyone!
I have a question about my 2006 Tacoma. My truck got about 155k mileage. The cv axle shaft apparently is no good based on oil spilled out of the boot and making noise such as eeee. I just moved to Seattle from California and I got no access to the garage or tools anymore. since all of my tools are in California. Was wondering do you know anyone who would replace the cv axle shaft for me for a good price. My location is Ballard, Seattle. Hopefully some of you could help me out here. Thanks Bunches

    Hi welcome to Seattle,

The Import Doctors are located next to Greenlake, right off of 99 and are good folks. I had a Subaru Forrester clutch replaced there, and the guys were very easy to work with and fast. Get a quote from them. Good luck!

What’s a typical going rate for cv axle replacement? I just replaced one on my sisters in-law 3rd gen, it’s was free, but curious what I saved her
