I don't think I could deal with ORIs, they're very cool and pretty adjustable. But they're not durable at all. They just wear out fast and start needing to be refilled all the time

Really often, I've heard of it mated to just about everything but the stock Merc trans

Actually funny story, the same busy intersection where my PreRunner flexplate imploded was the same place where my Merc E320 flexplate broke 10 years before.

 

The LC actually has really good loud horns unlike the Taco and the Z has pretty good horns (average car sound, deep though). I use the horn bracket on the LC for my AUX condenser fan though so it needs to stay around. The Z has a fiberglass front clip that has miles of room for horns though. I plan to drive it the most when it's done, and the Taco can have the Z horns.

 

I just put these in my truck. I am pleased with them so far.

Did they change the horns from 99 to 02?

 

They changed em 3 times, with each mini generation. First was meep, meep style, second was timid car horn, third was acceptable for a truck

I've had the meep lol those always get people's attention cause there like "wtf was that?" Now I'm on the timid horn can't wait to get Tyler's horn to give people brown pants

1995-2000 had one pathetic scooter horn, 2001-2004 has the common Hi/Lo tone horns.

 

It's just a fact of air shocks in general, but I have friends that had the ORI struts on second gens and a custom build. I think for strictly trailered rock crawlers it would be okay cause their dust exposure and use would be limited or for someone that rebuilds after every run like racers. But I know on the second gen, he'd just wake up to a half deflated shock sometimes and have to refill it with his CO2 kit, even went down while driving a couple times. YOu can rebuild them but it'll happen again, there isn't much to "wipe" the shafts clean and keep the seals from damage. Same reason almost all motorcycle manufacturers have dropped air forks too.
