We were always concerned about bloat coz she inhales her food. But has not happened yet. She’s 7 years old.

Never has had any health issues. As a therapy dog she’s required to have all her shots and a yearly vet examination which she always passes with flying colors.

The only time she has issues is when she runs into things (she’s a sprinter) and strains a front leg or in this case speared herself with a fallen tree branch.

She never even whined or complained. We didn’t even know she was hurt until we saw some blood droplets on the kitchen floor that evening.

My best bud, Juno. She goes to work with me every day and we are rarely apart. She knows at least three different ways to get comfy in the passenger seat, and zero ways in the back seat.

    Sounds like a great dog!!
Who'd a thought a Pinscher as a therapy dog! One of my favorite breeds so I wouldn't mind.
    Tough pooch! youch!
Bought one of these for our Weim to be, bloat being a real issue with them, these slow them down.

Thanks! I really think she's a Belgin Malinois, but truthfully her paperwork from the shelter where I found her listed her as a Shepherd mix. I am close to having a DNA panel done.

I'm the service manager for a local hot tub company. She used to go on service calls with me when I was a technician, but now we're mostly at one of the offices, save for the random self assigned service call on nice days to get some air.

I had a few velcro patches custom made for her harness that are quick to get comments from people. The tacos one I found, I can't take credit for that. But the "are you my new new mom" one I had made, as well as one that says THROW FAR? on the other side of the harness.

    She has a similar bowl.

So instead of taking 30 seconds to eat her food... she’ll vacuum it up in 37 seconds. LOL

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
We use one of these for our dog. The insert goes bye bye immediately. Without it, the ball will slow them down to about 5 mins, and takes a little mental work to get it all out. https://www.amazon.com/OurPets-Interactive-Dispensing-Assorted-Colors/dp/B003ARUKU0

She is beautiful. I know that little fluffy dogs, or labs or goldens are cute and cuddly... But there is something to be said about a Dobie being a therapy dog. That is awesome, and nothing more than a cushy "guard dog" to make your day. Bravo for being an ambassador for their breed.

Yeah. They’re starting to be a rare breed. Aside from dog shows, I’ve only seen a handful of dobies in the past ten years.

Round two is over! The surgeon released Sydney from her second CCL surgery/recovery. She's back to being a free dog and doesn't have any more knees to destroy. It's been a long seven months since the first injury.

Don't really have a new pic for this, so here she is enjoying some salami.

Awesome dog! Can you share what brand the harness is and what size is your dog wearing in the pic?

Tacomaworld meet Roxy! Just picked her up a couple week ago. Shes 11 weeks old as of today. Wasnt a rescue but i feel like I rescued her. She was in really bad shape when I got her from her previous owners. Absolutely covered in fleas. She had zero energy and had a bad case of round worms. Got her back to top shape since having her and she is full of energy! Not sure exactly what bloodlines she has so if anyone has an idea feel free to share your opinions.
