Neat. Are SWR meters fairly easy to use?

 

Very. Connect two wires and key the mike.

 

Yeah, there's plenty of content on youtube about it I think. Just hook it up between radio and antenna, hit transmit, read the result, turn a screw on top of antenna to adjust.

 

Good to hear. Got any links to the SWR meters you guys have? I may order one... but I won't really use the CB til the next ride anyway so I may wait.

Also, here are the spots we would always jump from growing up. Yes there have been deaths here but apparently we were all to young and dumb too care and jumped anyway. The red spot used to have a big bush/tree on the lower rocks that you had to clear to make it over. The blue jump was about 30 or so feet high and the red was about 50+.

I was just baiting for a reply because I knew there were surely several SWR meters laying around but nobody replied to Wes asking for one lol.

 

I've considered getting a handheld CB myself, let me know how yours works for you. I'd just like to remove another thing from my battery, plus the antennas hit everything haha
