The spicer 211750-1X was $77 shipped from Drivetrain America. It was the most expensive of the non- Toyota offerings. The rumor is though, is that they (Spicer) make them for Toyota. It is made in Japan according to Drivetrain America, so that rumor could be true. Guess Ill find out next week.

Not bad. It was a pure accident that I got the job I did. The one I applied for (grocery stock) was filled and she offered me a job in the smokehouse instead. Managed to get my buddy a job in the deli too. We both start tomorrow.

Perfect haha, if I called Walmart back I could probably get an interview there too, but I don’t really want to.

I found that all the local auto parts stores have now hiring signs up. But every single manager I interviewed with (4) were super lazy. They never called me back even to tell me if I didnt get the job. Just left me hanging. Would tell me to just wait another week if I happened to come in or call. Really made me mad. Kinda glad I didnt get a job at one of those places.

Yea hopefully Lowe’s works out, over night work would suck with school.

Hopefully one of the sporting goods stores calls haha. I’ve got a lot more experience in the outdoors than anywhere else.

Grand Junction didn’t offer a program for me but really, you could go to Junction and get your gen ed done and then apply for Colorado school of mines to finish up.

Or I’m sure Texas has a great engineering program somewhere.

Out of state school cost the bucks a lot of the time.

man, I never thought I'd get to the age where I'd be jealous of kids getting to choose what they want to do and where they want to go in life.

Truck stuff has been on hold as Ive been out of work for a month and a half. I put aside $350 at the end of my last job for gas and food each week. It just got to $100 this last weekend. But hopefully next Friday Ill get paid and it will be business as usual. Thankfully my Carrier bearing isnt about to explode, it just makes an annoying clunk sound/vibration in higher gear-lower RPM situations. So I had no issue putting it off, and even still I will wait for it to cool down outside before I do it.

Look into Mesa hen I guess if you’re serious.

Or Utah State has a good program too, just farther from Moab.

eh, I'm just saying you get to a point where you look back on those years (17/18...end of high school) and you realize how formative those times are in hindsight. Don't take it for granted is all I'm saying lol. Engineering degree is a wise choice if it's something that really interests you, you'll have a lot of opportunity with that
