    Hello fellow ohio tacoma lovers..

Im from Virginia and have quite a few yotas and i come from a yota family..

Long story short a few months ago my sister rolled her gorgeous xtracab. We've checked it out with a few different folk and everyone says the frame doesnt look tweaked.

So the hunt for a bad frame clean body began, well i found one near cincinati... only problem is im benind at work and cant get time to make a 16 hour round trip. I prolly can monday, but im scared it will be gone before then.

Anybody crazy enough to maybe buy it and hold it or haul it to Virginia. Prolly a better chance of hitting the lottery but worth a shot..

The one in Kentucky had a huge dent in the passenger xtracab. I saw that one.

The black 2wd? I'm considering it for a daily. DGAF about dents.

There are a ton of xtracab 1st gens for sale. All over the place. Near my area (Huntington WV metro), over toward Lexington, KY, Charleston, WV, over in VA.
If you're looking for a pristine body, good luck finding that in a 14 yr old + truck. Don't narrow it down to certain colors, get it painted. Don't restrict to 4x4 bodies only, swap parts. Use Rock Auto or others for the little things. Best of luck in your searching!

The cleaner the body, the better. Yea 2wd bodies work. Im searching from north Carolina to Pennsylvania and as west as ohio. You see good bodies out there. Jus cant justify 3 and 4k in a non usable truck.

Besides that dent that 2wd seemed decent

Ain't nothin a plunger and hot water can't fix, sort of.
I'd stick more south then, less road salt used.

Thats what i would have done lol, my sister is picky sometimes. Only downside going south is you dont see as many cheap due to bad frame

She's gonna have to settle for patchwork panel then. Get it painted after all the parts are on hand.
Not realistic to find one that's not frame rotting, clean body, and under $3k.

Thats what i tell her. Her budget is short. They want 28 for that white one but it has like 70k miles and i was gonna throw some money at it with her for the motor

70k is barely broken in for a 1st gen. 150k plus all day long here locally.

But, is $2800 worth a 16 hour round trip to you or her? Essentially when all that's needed is the sheet metal?

Most are 200k plus here. I dont mind the road trip. I like seeing new places. Even if its only from a truck window. The perk to buying whole truck was we could part out what we didnt need to make some cash back
