Got notice of this "service campaign" last Friday via snail mail. Funny thing was that my truck was in for the 10k service earlier in the day and they didn't mention a word about it... Getting the work done this week.

Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
Well, good that you got your letter. This may just be a right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. Service campaign notice comes from some other place than the dealership, so doubt they'd be able to pull this up unless they really looked. Fortunately you got your letter. I'm awaiting mine, as are a ton of others too.
At least you getting yours, and a few others as well means that the letters are going out and it's not being ignored as an issue any longer. Good luck to all the ACC folks getting attention though, not being included on the A-list so to speak.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed a vibration in the pedals when I had the a/c fan on high.. didn't call Toyota about it at the time (kept forgetting to do so), then I got the blower recall notice in the mail.. took it in and had it done today (took them an hour total), sure enough it fixed the pedal vibration issue as well.

Yeah, temps shot back up to 95 with 80% humidity today. Jumped in my truck and the ac fan made a loud noise. I am scheduled to get it replaced IN TWO FING MONTHS! :annoyed:

Is Toyota trying to be as bad a Ford??

Two MONTHS? My dealer had me in within 2 days of calling. At two months, I'd considering picking up the part and DIY.. I believe somebody mentioned the part is under $40.

The part is back ordered because of the recall. I can't pick it up even if I could do it myself.

Sorry to hear that... I got my letter last week, called the dealer and the parts were there within a day. Guessing a lot of letters got to their owners last week and the parts went fast!

I called the service department at my local dealer because the check engine light came on yet again after i brought it to them 2 weeks ago for the same issue. They told me there is also this blower motor recall on my truck and asked if i would like to have both issues fixed at the same time. So my truck will be going in next Thursday (9/27) morning. Hopefully they actually fix the check engine issue this time rather than just resetting the code without actually verifying and diagnosing the issue.

My dad has a 2017, and recently had his replaced and they made him pay for it. Can he be refunded if its a recall?

So yall are just calling and getting it done within a week?? Meanwhile mine actually has the death rattle in 95 degree climate and I have to wait two months? that is at least a month in hot weather here, two if we have a warm fall. If I get the recall notice in the mail, would I get it faster? lol

Between this and the wonky transmission, I am really disappointed in what should be the truck of my dreams.

Yes. The Toyota Owners website (https://www.toyota.com/owners/resources/recalls) has this:
"If you have received a Safety Recall or Special Service Campaign notice regarding your vehicle or have previously paid for Safety Recall or Special Service Campaign related repairs, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Click the button below to confirm if your vehicle is involved in a Safety Recall or Special Service Campaign and to submit your paperwork for reimbursement consideration."

It's not a recall its a service campaign so maybe it will not show up with recalls.

About three weeks ago my fan motor ate itself up (I have a 2017 TRD OR and didn’t know anything about the service bulletin). My dealer is over an hour and a half away so I called the closest dealer and they got me in the next morning, replaced the motor and I was out the door in less then an hour. No charge. I think they want my business.

I called my service person today and told him that my concern is that /i am stuck with an appt date, but if someone else comes along with the TSB letter, they would get my part before I will, so he ordered the part for my truck and will call when it comes in. That could be two months or much less time. It is plausible that they are that back ordered in my area. There are a lot of 3rd gens on the road here.

Didn't even know I had a recall. I brought the truck in to get an alignment after my lift install and they notified me that they also completed the recall and I got the last blower motor they had in stock.

My new a/c blower finally arrived and I just had it installed at 24K miles. The first one was replaced at 11K miles. Hopefully this will be the last time it needs to be replaced.
