Been cleaning out my garage Maner. 16 years of crap just being thrown about. Two dump runs and three Goodwill runs so far. I'm about 70% done. Once I get through it all I'll be able to sell some stuff on CL. Crap I'll never use like an old 5.1 Pioneer Elite stereo. But it's really consuming all my TTC time so I'm not happy even though it looks 100g better already.

A little something every chance we get.
Yes, this is true. I got my welcome package yesterday, and spent a full 10 minutes trying to "open" the flag. I thought it was one of those drawstring pouches. Guess I will throw it over the antennae on Sunday.

My garage became a hoarder space. I am using the heat as an excuse. Next up will be the rain. But it WILL come back.

Yea, I am just fed up trying to do things and knowing what I need to do them is in there but not being able to find those things. Luckily my tools are in a box.

I found brand new Fram oil filters for a Harley I sold in 2004. Stupid shit like that everywhere! :frusty:

I just read your signature and chuckled. I eat crayons. Lol

Once things settle down I want implement a good organizational system to keep my garage in order, because more than once I've experienced the same issue you've just described with the Harley oil filters.

Case in point: I have sound deadening material to insulate the entire interior of a double cab Silverado... That I sold in 2010.

I like all the songs. I remember learning them in primary school and again at summer camp. I never heard the coast guard song though.

Yea, I was over on one of the mods threads with some peeps mildly actin' the fool and before you knew it, we got hacked. LOL it was in fun but I was afraid to change it. Also, it's a tad bit befitting and explains some things about me. :p

I hear ya too! I keep dreaming of labeled bins on shelves being my new happy place! More though, I'd really like to get the Taco in there and not just the car.

And yes, when we moved in we replaced the wood burning stove with a custom bar. It's still sitting on the flatbed cart we put it on to move it out of the family room. I know I could easily get a hundred for it. Now it just takes up space that could be decent storage

If you ever get to labeling, look at one of these:

Available labels come in hundreds of different varieties: colors, material, heat shrink, etc. I have one that I've used for years in home and industrial settings, and the label maker's construction is solid. So are the labels themselves. Labels that I printed years ago remain unfaded.

Yea, label makers are essential for organizing. That one looks serious.

    I use this one

    Brother P-touch, PTD210, Easy-to-Use Label Maker, One-Touch Keys, Multiple Font Styles, 27 User-Friendly Templates, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013DG2FNW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_zTEPBb01ZV65F

Sure beats duct tape and a sharpie. :D

Got to do that also. We have been storing junk for Cindy’s mom and son for years. We decided we were going to do the same thing donate all we could and junk the rest.
