How much of a lift that give you in the front? 2.25” like they claim?

Looking at exact system. Did you go with just sport or tow/haul? Did you have to trim rear shock mounts to prevent rubbing by tire? Would love to see more pics and side view to help assure I’m going with right setup.

Probably a long shot but can anyone compare these to the Fox Pro TRD Shocks? About the same price if buying used TRD.
Not really interested in a lift, I’m ok with the 1”.....or not that the Pro’s offer. Lol

Looking for better off and on road performance, these OR Bilsteins are valved poorly IMO.

Any updates or reviews on these. A little sticker shock for a system that uses stock coils but an adjustable piggyback rear setup this seems like it has potential. Did anyone ever find out a collapsed and extended length on these?

I ordered a set of these, hopefully will get them this week. I will measure them and get the extended and collapsed length so everyone will know.

You can get 32-33” tires in skinnier widths like a 255, that helps no rubbing occur. You can also get your caster adjusted with adjustable UCAs

I have the tow/haul package going on my 2019 4runner next week, as a sort of pilot run for a local shop.

One thing that I question about these is that they claim to be specifically tuned for stock coils. Tacos run a few different sets of coils with different spring rates between the different trims and generations. So is TeraFlex full of shit? Not questioning the quality but seems like marketing tactics. If that’s the case these could be easily used with an aftermarket coil.

Awesome. I have been looking hard at this setup. I’ll be interested to hear what you think when you get them.

Yes I did get the set with the rear adjuster figured might as well. They will be delivered on Thursday. I will post up pics of the stock bilstein shocks and falcons side by side as well as the difference in travel they have over stock if any. I will also post a review of them once I’ve got a few miles on them in the rocks and on road. If they work as well as they claim the price for the kit is really not that bad. FYI I live off my bump stops, when my truck is loaded with camping supplies Im constantly bottoming out going down even a easy trail.

I assume that even tho the Tacomas have different spring rates for the different trim levels that they are going to be similar enough that it won’t be a issue. All the 4x4 V6 Tacoma’s are going to be close in weight so the tune on the shocks should be pretty good.

I’m sure your right that it’ll be a good tune. I was commenting more on their marketing toward using factory coils. I’m guessing they don’t want people mix and matching coils. Then if someone makes a bad coil choice then blames the shock for a shitty ride.

That’s very true. Plus aftermarket coil springs may or may not fit their lower spring isolator if the bottom of the coils aren’t the exact same as the factory coil. Or if the coils are longer it may cause coil bind with their shocks.

    Got the falcon shocks today.
Rear shocks measure 14 5/8 collapsed,23 1/8 extended so exactly 8.5 inch travel. They are the same length as the factory bilstein shocks. Will do the fronts another day but I think they are 1 inch longer than the factory shocks.

Do you have to drill out the rear shock upper mount?

Ok, remembered that from the video.
Is this needed for any of the other shocks on the market?

    Are you running Falcons?
