...^^^... Ok, I understand that one.

I am in Georgia where the sales tax is unlimited I think.

I pay no sales tax with a VA tax exempt letter in GA.

2018 Barcelona Red Access Cab TRD Off Road AT with Tech package for $33,500 + tax title license at Findlay in Flagstaff today. Very easy purchase. I believe they had MSRP listed as about $37,500. All the posts here were a big help.

Glad to be back in a Toyota truck. I've missed my 1991 Toyota pickup ever since I finally gave it up in 2013. Looking forward to getting a shell, maybe a bit of a lift, and doing a camper build in the back.

I paid $37,189 OTD for a 2018 Barcelona Red TRD OR DCSB 4x4 with Tech Pkg from Toyota of San Diego. Used Truecars via my Credit Union to get a starting price point that took me to several dealerships and negotiated from there.

So just to be clear, you CANNOT get JBL or sunroof on any MT taco, no matter what? Not even a standalone option apart from Premium/Tech packages?

Get quote from said Santa Rosa dealer and try to use that as leverage for better pricing with other dealers. I just took the great deal from the Santa Rosa dealer and drove 2 hours to pick up my truck .

All prices should be before taxes, title, license, registration, rebate, trade-in, etc. OTD and any price that includes these values is not helpful for comparison.

Back in early June bought my truck in Bowie, MD. A '18 DCSB Off Road with tech and premium package plus floor mats/sill protectors and mud guards. Did not qualify for any rebates at that time.

    MSRP was 40862
Paid 38488 before Tax, Tags, Title and DOC fees. Calculated Invoice was 37697

The dealer had also added Pin Strips, Door Edge Guards and OEM Wheel Locks for 795 yet I only paid an additional 150 for those items.
I thought the price was reasonable-the dealer needs to make a buck, got the low interest from Toyota (60 months at 1.9%) and got out of my way too big/bulky F15O. Did not really want the Premium and Tech packages but no choice because definately wanted the moonroof. I'm 6'1" and do fit but sure wish the seat was more adjustable.

Overall fairly happy with the truck; averaging better than 20 MPG. Not so happy with the transmission-upshifts early to save gas yet has to downshift often to get back into the power RPM's even on flat land. Don't like it but can live with it. When you really got to go fast and you get the engine up to 3-4000+ RPM's there is ample power/acceleration.

Added the Factory Cast Aluminum running boards because I like them and my kids need them. And a bed mat plus bed step-because I am getting up there in years. That step does work quite well. Got these accessories off of eBay using the 15% or 20% off coupons.

I should not do it but do plan to get the TRD Exhaust system some day. Why? Because I had it on my FJ Cruiser way back in 2008. It sounded great and really livened up that truck.

Talk to Jeremy Coffelt at Elk Grove Toyota. Bought (Sept 1, 2018) my CEMENT TRD OR DCSB AT with TECH pkg, All weather floor mats/sill protector, and Bed Mat for $34, 487 before TTL. MSRP is $38,358. Did everything online and showed up to test drive and sign paperwork. Best price I got thru at least 10 dealerships from the Bay Area down to Selma and up to SAC, including Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa.

I am looking for a 2018 fully loaded TRD OR 6 spd manual (premium and tech packages, preferably tonneau cover and roof rack as well)

I have an offer for a 2018 TRD OR in the color I prefer from one dealer for $35,996 BEFORE $1,000 Toyota cash incentive OR 1.99% APR special financing. They quoted me $34,996 including the $1000 incentive. This truck is fully loaded including tech package, premium package, tonneau cover, mudflaps and bedmat while being a 6MT. I am only looking at Tech + Premium package + 6MT trucks. Furthermore, no dealer within 500 miles of me carriers 6MT trucks at all unless bought from an out of state dealership (damn you Gulf States Toyota...). I am willing to travel for the right deal, IF it makes financial sense.

Trouble is, it will cost me an additional $400 for a one-way flight plus approximately $200 in fuel to drive the 1500 miles home.

Based on what I've seen here, some have paid as low as $34,500 not including incentive offers from Toyota for a similarly equipped truck.

    Good deal?

Edit: Also , they ostensibly charge $699 destination/dealer fee (I don't recall what they called it) with every vehicle ON TOP of quoted price, plus taxes, etc...This seems absurd to me. Although most dealers here charge up the ante for stupid addon bullsh*t (thanks again GST), they only charge a $150 dealer fee.

I payed 31900 before taxes etc and before trade in on a 18 dcsb sport. Dealer addons was the 2n1 fog and that platinum toyoguard thing

I think that was a decent deal but I did get hit on the interest rate. First time buying a brand new vehicle or having a car payment in general so there are things I wasn’t thinking about going through this process.

Man, i keep seeing all of these great prices and it's making me very frustrated with the three different dealers i've been in contact with. They all want to sell at invoice- $38,295 before TTL on a '18 TRD OR premium/tech packages in Cement. Does Cement have a special "rare color tax" or something? I know on other manufacturers some colors fetch higher prices due to rareness. I've seen other colors for less in the same packaging? Should i look farther away? Two of these dealers are 200+ miles away from me.

    Yes

I had a 4x4 sport trac 02 before this and in the last 9 yrs I didn’t even put it to use. So although resale on a 4x4 is better I just couldn’t justify it

I've been shopping around and yes, cement seems to command a higher price. I've attributed it to the fact that there are less cement trucks than a color like white, MGM, or black. That being said, a dealer was willing to give me the Costco price on a DCSB TRD Sport Cement with premium and tech for $36xxx (don't have the exact figure on me) so it might be worth you paying $60 for a Costco membership to save a couple grand on the truck if that's what you want. I would have bought that truck if I hadn't realized the sunroof was a deal breaker because of how tall I am.

Yes I know location plays a role as well, I don't get why my area has such high prices? I'm guessing they don't sell as many? Allocation?

Do you have more details or possibly a link to the Costco pricing? I'm going to look into that today.
