There's no shortage of Subies up here. This is our second one, 11th for the family. I'm not overly crazy about my daughter driving the Forester as it's an XT (turbo). Basically a WRX in a Forester. It's quick, very quick.

Definitely a tough time you guys are going through. It is never easy but two in a short time is just beyond horrible. You’re gonna need a lot of fuzz therapy.
    :sorry:

We had the 'talk' when she got her license. It's not a ticket that I worry about with a fast car. Of course neither of them can drive a manual shift so I have to drive the Tacoma.

I have had a pretty shitty week...
Get home from work Tuesday night and all my fish were dead. Had to clean out 80...90 fish including my 4 beautiful 36" koi. Put the pond in over 2 years ago and never had an algae problem. I had a massive algae bloom that sucked all the O2 out and they were done. I didn't recognize the problem as I thought the issue was ammonia.
At work on Wednesday, I handed over control to my peer and within an hour we had an accident because of what he was doing or not doing and thankfully there was no one on the vessel when it capsized.
Thursday at the newly renovated McD's, their soda machine was down, so much for comfort food and
Friday I lost my keys including the Viper key fob for me truck...
Decided the best thing to do this weekend is to stay home and work on the pond doing some mods.

The saving grace this week is Astro, although he looked as guilty as hell when I got home on Tuesday night and I thought he had dug up my citrus trees again, but nope, he knew there was something up with the pond and was concerned... He is always happy to see me and this week that has been especially great when I get home...

I am assuming that it is just my turn for shit to happen and all will be good in the world again soon...
Just wanted to vent a little on the only interweb social thing I am on...
    Thanks for listening.

Damn, I would thought KOI were a little more resilient sorry to hear that I have seen a lot of those type of ponds and they are a lot of work ! . You did not need Mc'Ds just go get an ice cream sunday :} lol Do I want to know how expensive the key fob is ?
Now umm please explain how one screws up that badly to capsize a vessel if you have half a clue of what you are doing ?

    Well perhaps take Astro out for a burger then he did well :}

We got our daughter a Kia Soul stick shift. She had a couple of fender benders while in high school and our insurance went through the roof. So I told her, have one more accident and you better enjoy public transport because that will be in your future as I will sell the car and you can buy your own one adn get your own insurance.
She is in collage now and hasn't had so much of a scratch on the car since... Not sure if it was the thought of being on public transport or if she matured enough with her driving that is the difference.

    Good evening. :hattip:

It’s still 90° outside. It’s the end of September for goodness sakes.

    Well good evening.

Sorry about the loss of loved pets. It's never easy. Our 3 are about the same age and life span so it'll be rough when the time comes.

Today sucked. When we planned the job the temps were only forecasted to be 100. It got up to 108. We got the bulk of it done before it reached 105, but it was still hot, we were working with grouting rocks and there was less opportunity to stop and take a break with a tub full of grout that's "going off". We still drank tons of water and were totally soaked. I really hate working with concrete and now learned that stone and grout are right there on the same line.

Off tomorrow, get some chores done around here and go back at it Monday.
