It holds up well for about 12 hours. Dog food when wet actually will swell up and grow in size too.. Buy some cheap nylons from walmart and tie the food inside them and in the trap... Works great...

I haven't done a lot of fishing in AZ but I am heading up to the RIM this weekend and wanted to take the kids (8 &10) fishing. What is the best bait/lures to use for Willow Springs?

The few times they have been out they are pretty good with the poles.

Powerbait 15" off the bottom is best or worms can work too. I like using a panther martin type spinner as well, sometimes a z-ray or small spoon. Bait works best for the stockers.

We got a few strikes but didn't land anything. Nothing seemed to like the power bait but did get some action off the meal worms. Some people were catching some good trouts out on boats in the deeper water, but no one was really catching much from shore.

All that matter is the kids had fun and the wife didn't complain.

Bottom fishing, not really. Trolling with cow bells, tons. Friday was solid, yesterday they weren’t biting as much but still managed some limits worth

I’d love to get into float tubes one day. Need to buy the gear I guess.

Felt like getting out of the heat, so came up to big bear (ca) eventhough the lake is about 15’ Low. Shore fishing & not expecting much, but hopeful. Not a bad way to spend a few days by myself.

Nice man! Was on Coronado yesterday, almost tried to hop on a day boat, but didn’t want to be driving up to Big Bear late as hell.

    Good luck out there

Always good when the skunk is off, especially when you’re planning on eating the fish for lunch
