Added some inner fenders and a bed to the wraith tonight. Also re routed all the electronics to one place and re wires the whole thing. Does anyone see a problem with everything crammed in that space? 28B204EE-E3E0-4CBF-AE83-57E097BA3020.jpg747C4D63-9C4E-444B-83AD-4011E5896C62.jpg30EB65C1-24AA-4ABE-AC96-7763BFF4C163.jpg

I put a 3300kv brushless trailmaster in my wraith and comp crawled it tonight. It rips.... Kinda out of control to blip when stuck doing backflips and what not

They’ll be fine right there. Here’s a tray that’ll fit under the hood. I posted a to scale tray way back that you can cut out of some lexan that fits under the hood. Or you get buy a Crawler Innovations one.

That’s what I have in there already, I had to cut off some of the edges yesterday so the fenders would fit. Lol.

thanks man. It was definitely a fun project restoring it. It's an original release (1985-1992) Tamiya Bruiser Hardbody sitting on a TRX4 chassis. The wheelbase was shortened to fit the body and the posts were removed and I JB welded magnets to the posts and body. I filled all the old holes and replaced broken parts. Added real side marker lenses vs the molded plastic ones. added LED lighhts. sanded down and attached all the detail parts. Built the bumpers and exo from 3/16" steel round bar. drew up the frame mounts and skid plate in Solidworks and cut them out on the waterjet. painted and detailed the body. detailed parts. upgraded the ESC to a Hobbywing wp1080 and the servo to a Trackstar evo 437oz/in. aluminum beadlocks with Pitbull Rock Beast XL's and Crawler Innovation Lil Nova soft front and medium rears.

needs a little more tuning (front weight, going brass parts) and some new proline shocks.

Sup guys, I am completely clueless when it comes to RC. I got this one about 10 years ago and used it regularly for about 3 years. I haven’t turned it on since 2012. I wanted to know if it is worth fixing it or just selling as is? If y’all have any knowledge about this particular model, let me know. Like I said I do not know anything lol

Close up pictures might help identify it. There should be some branding on it?

Been in RC since I was a kid. Raced seriously in the 90s, Tamiya touring cars, F1, eventually other touring cars. I really loved 1/12 mod, I was always one of the "bad guys" running Trinity pan cars.

Now I just mess around. Not willing to invest the time to race because if I race it is serious. So, I run over shit with the TRX-4 and do some flying. Great hobby, I've seen a lot of people come and go. I miss the competitive aspect the most. Built a TA02 Vectra to set on the shelf for history's sake. Antique pile of soft plastic parts lol...

Think I have seen a couple on here. Give you guys a lot of credit. Tried flying a heli a while ago, man is it hard, lots of broken blades.

I feel the same way I can't fly anything at all, I have tried but it's just not for me. But helicopters can do some pretty cool tricks.

I bought a trainer plane once and could not keep it in the air. Bought a computer simulator that uses the same Spektrum transmitter and that didn’t help. It has a Frankensteinish looking nose now after putting it back together so many times with CA. So I tried my hand at small drones that would bind to the transmitter...still not happening. Now the kids will play on the simulator but after a few crashes, no rewards, and being “too realistic” they quit and rather play on the Wii.
