I was going to post a bunch of my old and current boards on here but just snagged this single fin by doc.

6’4 donovan frankenreiter model single fin.

No experience with a single fin or a 6’4 range board but I have a feeling it’ll be fun

For anyone in to podcasts check out Surf Mastery. Pretty cool. Dude does interviews with pros and others in the surf industry like trainers and coaches and stuff like that. Gives some advice on bettering your surfing and what not.

Got called an ass hole by this old man on a longboard today because he was on a section that looked like it was about to close out on him so i was paddling in to a wave and then pulled back before I even stood up when I saw the wave didn't close out  I swear the people who surf newport/HB are always so aggro for such a poopy wave. He was mad doggin me on his paddle back out me and my friend just start laughing

It's good stuff. The first episode gives some paddling/pop up tips. Other one I listened to that I found really good with with Matt Griggs and they went over some kelee meditation stuff and other things. Been listening to it non stop the last two days

there used to be a guy around that had 'Old man of the Surf' painted on the back of his farmer john. smoked stogies. would go out about knee deep, knock the head off the stogie, and stick it up the leg of his wetsuit. on his way out of the water, he'd reach up, pull it out, and stick it in his mouth.

30 years later I was working with an old crew of retired stone masons. turns out one of them was this fellows father. the surfer had developed arthritis so bad he could hardly walk. true story: Jim Ventri.

Went to San O again today with my girlfriend and a friend from college. She had a 7’6 epoxy board and it was so fun. Thing paddled amazing and was so light. Took my fish out though and had another killer sesh. Good swell starting tomorrow from Rosa

South county, hb etc will be filled due to the hype and seal beach pier, blackies and all the other baby breaks will be full with guys who are too scared to go to HB, newport and the other big boy spots.
