Reno and surrounding areas: Official spotted, BS, and meets thread

That's Theo's truck, we designed our 3rd gen front bumper and high clearance rear on that rig a couple years ago. He posted it up on CL back in the spring but didn't seem to get any hits on it, he relisted it a few times. Possibly the price is pushing people away considering the mileage on it? Does have some decent mods on it though for someone that would appreciate them..... and it's a 6 speed manual which is kind of rare. I'd certainly prefer a manual, but these days I'm definitely the minority there, everyone seems to buy the automatic's so maybe thats part of it too. I bet he'd get more interest in it if he posted it here in the 3rd gen's for sale section on TW

 

Lol. No. When I was looking a few months back there were no third gens with upgrades at this price. Have a point to mileage though. Blue book says high end is about 28k. So he is pricing about 7k for upgrades or about 1/2 retail.

 

Sweet. Based on his pricing my truck is now for sale for $43k. Low mileage too.

 

Yeah it’s definitely overpriced for the mileage. He’s putting like 3x the average yearly miles on that thing.

 

@RelentlessFabrication hey, how come no more skid plates for 3rd gen on your site? buddy was interested in them but they aren't listed anymore? did u guys stop making them?

 

Slow sales so we weren't moving enough to justify shelf space to keep making a batch every so often and just keeping em on hand.

We still make them if he just contacts us though. They'll be a few weeks lead time to be made so just as long as he's aware it's not a part thats on the shelf ready for pick up immediately.

 

Well most people wont know that unless you tell them.
Put them back on the website & say something like "By special order only"

Looks like I should have a couple steel and aluminum powder coated available right now, but we are low stock right now so you'd want to snag one pretty quick to keep from waiting on more to be coated.

I’ve never gotten a letter to appear for selection. I always thought it was supposed to be every couple years.

 

I didn't get selected for the jury, burned a day at work, and do t get the $40...it's only paid if you are selected to serve.

This is my second time having jury duty. The first time I was selected and the case settled the first day, right before the trial was set to start.

 

i had it one time. i was an alternate. i dont think i got paid either but had to be there the whole time. I cant remember though.

 

I think I was picked for the Ritchie West drug doctor trial
I was told it was a federal court trial.
Before I had to go down for jury selection I got an email saying my services wouldn't be required & this doesn't count toward jury duty so I can be recalled at any time.
That night on the news the story was the Doc had accepted a plea bargain deal.
